The mobile EndoPORTABLE examination system comprises the Tablet PC designed for medical use, a dock permanently attached to its rear side, and the flexible EV‑NC video nasopharyngoscope.
The pre-installed DiVAS Touch software provides the features necessary for loading patient data and worklists from the HIS, recording and playing back examination videos and photos and for retransmitting them back to the HIS. Data synchronization is performed on a DiVAS workstation equipped with an EndoPORTABLE Docking Station, via the standard DICOM and HL7 interfaces. During use, the Tablet PC can be operated either lying down, with the integrated bracket stand folded up, or suspended from an infusion stand.
Basic functions of the pre-installed DiVAS Touch examination software:
- Recording video and photo sessions
- Synchronizing patient data and examination data with a stationary DiVAS workstation for further processing or archiving in the HIS
