Module Augmented Reality for Navigation System
Continuous navigation with endoscopic overlay of target structures.
MATRIX POLAR Augmented Reality is a modular extension of the MATRIX POLAR navigation system.
In the planning phase of an operation, anatomical structures can be highlighted preoperatively as well as during the intervention in patient image data with the help of planning points or three-dimensional target structures. Intraoperatively, these serve as waypoints and landmarks.
For the best possible implementation, artificial planning elements can be displayed on top of the live endoscopic image facilitating orientation.
