Sound pressure level measurements of the singing and speaking voices in dependence of the frequency deliver clinically relevant information about the volume and pitch ranges of the voice. Multiple new possibilities increase the validity and efficiency of the voice range profile measurement considerably. These are, for example, the calculation and realtime display of the power spectrum for each single tone . For the first time, either single tones or the total audio sequence can be replayed. Further, the spectrum of the complete record can simultaneously be calculated and displayed with the voice range profile. Finally, the DSI, phonation time, the singer's formant and jitter are measured. Comparative voice range profiles can be imported. |
