The XION video otoscope comprises optical system, LED illumination and electronics in a very compact and practical instrument powered via a USB connection.

The video otoscope is optimized for two different focus ranges - for close range operation (the auditory canal) and for external images (the pinna). Since there is no need for an additional control unit, the video otoscope is also ideal for mobile applications with a laptop.

The integrated preheating is activated once the otoscope is placed in the supplied holder. Moreover, camera and light source are automatically switched off. The holder can stand on a table or be mounted on a wall. .
