The robust composition and an internal bend protection at both cable ends are made for a long lifetime and the fulfilment of highest hygienic requirements.

Opposing to standard light guide cables, the single fibres at the light-input end are not glued but smelted using a special technique. This increases the transmission and makes the cables temperature resistant and particularly suitable for xenon light sources.
